The Strategic Bicycle Plan was developed in 2010 following site observations, community and visitor surveys and key stakeholder engagement. The plan was developed in conjunction with the former Streaky Bay Township Masterplan, Council in 2024 endorsed a new Township Masterplan and this document should be read in conjunction with the new Township Masterplan.
The Strategic Bicycle Plan provides a number of recommendations that will support and promote cycling in Streaky Bay. Many of the recommendations can be undertaken as part of other planned works, rather than as “stand alone” recommendations for cycling.
