Ageing Well Strategy Public Consultation
The District Council of Streaky Bay is thrilled to invite you to participate in the public consultation for our Draft Ageing Well Strategy!
The DCSB supports community wellbeing across all ages and has developed this Ageing Well Strategy to inform the Council of the priorities for those aged 55 and over in our community.
With over 40% of residents in the area aged 55 years and above, there is a need for tailored initiatives and recreational activities to suit all age groups. The idyllic coastal settings of the region attract retirees, contributing to a significant increase in the number of older community members. Acknowledging this demographic shift, the DCSB is dedicated to preparing for the ongoing needs of an ageing population through this Ageing Well Strategy.
