Seeking Your Feedback: Four-Year Priority Plan 2025–2029
The District Council of Streaky Bay is excited to share its Four-Year Priority Plan (2025–2029), a roadmap for delivering projects, services, and strategic initiatives over the next four years to support a thriving, connected, and sustainable future for our region.
This plan has been developed through extensive collaboration with our community, including workshops, surveys, development of township community plans and contributions from our Community Reference Group. It outlines six key focus areas:
- Capital Projects – New infrastructure, upgrades, and renewals.
- Capital Planning – Designing shovel-ready projects for future implementation.
- Strategic Planning – Long-term initiatives for growth and resilience.
- Servicing Priorities – Meeting the immediate needs of our district.
- Lobbying Priorities – Advocacy for key regional issues like water security, telecommunications, and road infrastructure.
Please note that specific road maintenance and construction activities are not detailed in this plan, as they are guided by Council's Asset Management Plan.
