Council Communicates Vaccine Information to the Community

The District Council of Streaky Bay has received correspondence from the Town of Port Hedland regarding a motion passed at their Special Council Meeting on 11 October. The motion, supported by Port Hedland Councillors, directed their CEO to distribute information related to COVID-19 vaccines. Letters were sent to various government stakeholders, local councils, and healthcare providers in the region.

These letters were formally presented during the District Council of Streaky Bay’s December Ordinary Council Meeting. Following a review, Council resolved to share the information with the local community through its official communication channels. This decision aims to ensure that residents have access to relevant information, empowering them to form their own informed perspectives on the matter.

Community members can review the full agenda and the correspondence discussed during December’s meeting by visiting the following link December Ordinary Council Meeting Agenda (refer to page 297).
